Welcome to Far Harbor
Far Harbor is a 18+ RPG that features loose stats, perks (and the ability to gain more) and a profile application. Don't worry if your knowledge of Fallout isn't extensive! Our docs cover the most important points and we'll be happy to answer any questions you might have about the world.

On Far Harbor, we like to focus on the oddness of a post-apocalyptic future where technology is as diverse as having synthetic life and guns made of wood pailings. Ghouls, super mutants, humans and synths all have a place in The Island. If you're looking for a place to explore a world blasted by radiation

. . . welcome home
Feburary 2277
Super mutants have been discovered on The Island after a disasterous expedition to find somewhere for the ghouls to establish an indepedent settlement. Meanwhile, Far Harbor was attacked by anglers, injuring many and placing additional strain upon the town's only physician.

I have installed the new "Pipboy" theme! It introduces the ability to display what items your character commonly carries (change this in the UserCP). If you run into issues, be sure to PM Kit the Human.

We've also switched to profile applications! Pending Users can now edit all of their details. You can find out about the process here.

We've relaxed out content rules! We're now rated, anything goes.

Connor laughed, nudging the bundle that was Zack with his foot. "Maybe. You up to watch tonight?" A smile flashed at their new friend. "I'm pretty tired, I could actually use a nap." Or at least the chance to lay down and close his eyes. Chances were, he'd fall asleep anyway.

He could set an alarm - his watch worked, fueled by a tiny solar battery. It never failed to wake him up.

Unaware of Zack's thoughts, Joan sniffed the blanket and wrinkled their nose slightly. They usually brought this one out with them since it wasn't that bad if it got ruined, and they had a bed or well more like a nest covered in blankets back at their hidey hole.

"Uh, yeah, sure." They blinked slightly in surprise, as they hadn't thought they'd be trusted with a watch on the first night. "Fer 'ow long?"

"How much food do you want?" Zack asked, driven by two things. The first, extended cuddle time with Connor. An important thing. The second: having an excuse to fatten up Joan who was surely about to collapse in on herself. They could find her a spot on the cart to sleep during the day.

He laughed, tickled by Zack's response. "I could go for like, I dunno. Three hours? I've been up since early this morning." Usually, he could power through it. Not that wanted to.

"Three hours soun's good." Joan didn't know if they could manage more than that, they hadn't slept since last night. They drew the blanket even tighter around them, so only their head showed where they sat.

They'd just have to settle in for a few hours of staying awake.

He grinned. "Deal." Connor leaned toward their fire to set his watch, timing the alarm for three hours. It was probably crazy, leaving her on her own the first night, but hey, they were light sleepers.

Connor laid down with his backpack under his arm anyway, pressing his back against Zack in a clear request to be held.

Zack was a well-behaved boyfriend. He obediently dragged the blanket over Connor. Connor's back was warm and sturdy, as comfortable to him as a real and soft mattress. Zack turned his arm into a pillow and put his other arm over Connor's stomach. His fingers inched under Connor's shirt and settled when he felt skin. It was simply nice to hold Connor.

Zack's eyes darted to Joan and he smiled at her, then mouthed a thank you.
