Welcome to Far Harbor
Far Harbor is a 18+ RPG that features loose stats, perks (and the ability to gain more) and a profile application. Don't worry if your knowledge of Fallout isn't extensive! Our docs cover the most important points and we'll be happy to answer any questions you might have about the world.

On Far Harbor, we like to focus on the oddness of a post-apocalyptic future where technology is as diverse as having synthetic life and guns made of wood pailings. Ghouls, super mutants, humans and synths all have a place in The Island. If you're looking for a place to explore a world blasted by radiation

. . . welcome home
Feburary 2277
Super mutants have been discovered on The Island after a disasterous expedition to find somewhere for the ghouls to establish an indepedent settlement. Meanwhile, Far Harbor was attacked by anglers, injuring many and placing additional strain upon the town's only physician.

I have installed the new "Pipboy" theme! It introduces the ability to display what items your character commonly carries (change this in the UserCP). If you run into issues, be sure to PM Kit the Human.

We've also switched to profile applications! Pending Users can now edit all of their details. You can find out about the process here.

We've relaxed out content rules! We're now rated, anything goes.

Jamie's mouth screwed up when the longer synth started putting ghost kisses on the other synth's fingers. Gross.

"It won't feel worse cus I eat an' that stops the sick feeling and the noise." She scowled at the stupid fire and then decided it was bed time. She rolled over, back to them and harpoon gun in reach and loaded. Just in case.

"Thank you." Sigma smiled still, then glanced at the human. Tilting his head toward him, he tried to speak to Phi without words. Humans liked quiet to sleep, he understood. He stood to sit next to Phi, leaned toward him to watch him clean the gun.

"Do you need any help?" he whispered.

Phi did not. He shook his head as he returned to his cleaning. He was nearly done, the weapon was well maintained and therefore did not need much attention. He set it down beside him and looked at the fire that danced like moths around light.

"Why do we whisper?"

"Humans like to sleep where it's quiet." Deja vu struck, a notice for work to remain quiet during certain hours. Sigma slept sometimes but not because he had to, and once, he'd slept more often.

"They need sleep to survive." Turning his face to the fire, he leaned forward, resting his arms and then his chin on his knees. The night wasn't quiet around them, dense with talkative insects and rustling trees. Still, he knew that the human would want them to speak quietly. Sigma yawned, lulled by the heat and the crackle.

Sigma was orange and red and blue. The colours overwhelmed his senses and obliterated the shape beneath the colours. Phi looked away and closed his eyes to let the darkness settle back into him. It was quiet and noisy all at once. Birds crying and the trees popping. The fire whispered to them and the human breathed, soft and slow.

"The human is angry and likes to destroy things. It appears tiring. Thank you for the," Phi traced lines in the air, unsure of what to call Sigma's display. "It was interesting."
