Welcome to Far Harbor
Far Harbor is a 18+ RPG that features loose stats, perks (and the ability to gain more) and a profile application. Don't worry if your knowledge of Fallout isn't extensive! Our docs cover the most important points and we'll be happy to answer any questions you might have about the world.

On Far Harbor, we like to focus on the oddness of a post-apocalyptic future where technology is as diverse as having synthetic life and guns made of wood pailings. Ghouls, super mutants, humans and synths all have a place in The Island. If you're looking for a place to explore a world blasted by radiation

. . . welcome home
Feburary 2277
Super mutants have been discovered on The Island after a disasterous expedition to find somewhere for the ghouls to establish an indepedent settlement. Meanwhile, Far Harbor was attacked by anglers, injuring many and placing additional strain upon the town's only physician.

I have installed the new "Pipboy" theme! It introduces the ability to display what items your character commonly carries (change this in the UserCP). If you run into issues, be sure to PM Kit the Human.

We've also switched to profile applications! Pending Users can now edit all of their details. You can find out about the process here.

Biography

The original Connor Malloy would remember his mother but not his father. Both Brotherhood once, but she made an effort at carving out a little bit of safety for her child. She ran and fought and hid as long as she could, but the original Connor remembered the last time he saw her and the color of her hair, even if the details otherwise faded with time.

Conversely, the synth remembers exactly how she looked. He doesn’t remember how scared human-Connor was when she left him behind for the first time in his short life, but he knows her name and that she left him with her brother in Diamond City.

He remembers that human-Connor’s aunt and uncle treated him fairly, but also that there wasn’t enough food to go around and in the end it meant going out for work. He remembers when Connor met Zack, and just hasn’t examined why he can’t recall how he felt about that, either.

The earliest memory that stirs him is waking up just on the inside of a leaning, wire fence. It’s cold and the dew collected in the grass brushes against his bare arms. Nighttime, waning moon. A brahmin is raising absolute hell from a pen nearby, and that’s what brings the people to him. Connor couldn't remember where he was or how he got there, but he remembers the choking panic, now.

Everything since is clearer. They - he and Zack - wandered until risk and reward stopped balancing out. Zack had a home to return to, and Connor couldn't imagine having a home that didn’t have Zack in it, so they went together.

Far Harbor never quite forgot he was an outsider, but Connor settled in eventually, integrated by bits and pieces into the landscape. They don’t notice that he looks exactly the same as when he showed up simply because they see him every day. He doesn’t notice either.

Synth-Connor is a better mechanic than the human one ever was. He earns his keep and has a true harborperson to vouch for him. The last eight years have been stable, happy.

Connor remembers that.
