Welcome to Far Harbor
Far Harbor is a 18+ RPG that features loose stats, perks (and the ability to gain more) and a profile application. Don't worry if your knowledge of Fallout isn't extensive! Our docs cover the most important points and we'll be happy to answer any questions you might have about the world.

On Far Harbor, we like to focus on the oddness of a post-apocalyptic future where technology is as diverse as having synthetic life and guns made of wood pailings. Ghouls, super mutants, humans and synths all have a place in The Island. If you're looking for a place to explore a world blasted by radiation

. . . welcome home
Feburary 2277
Super mutants have been discovered on The Island after a disasterous expedition to find somewhere for the ghouls to establish an indepedent settlement. Meanwhile, Far Harbor was attacked by anglers, injuring many and placing additional strain upon the town's only physician.

I have installed the new "Pipboy" theme! It introduces the ability to display what items your character commonly carries (change this in the UserCP). If you run into issues, be sure to PM Kit the Human.

We've also switched to profile applications! Pending Users can now edit all of their details. You can find out about the process here.

Biography

Copernicus was born in Boston on October 21, 2046. His early life was uneventful, he had attended Shaw High School, played baseball, read Grognak comics, and listened to the Silver Shroud. In 2064, Copernicus attended the Commonwealth Institute of Technology and majored in Robotic Engineering. Upon graduating, Copernicus found a job at Wilson Atomatoys before landing a job with RobCo Industries in Washington, D.C. He spent many years working on the maintenance and design team before moving up to futuristic engineering, the designing of the future of RobCo Industries designs. Before the bombs fell, Copernicus was ordered to spend a week at Far Harbor on mandatory rest.

Copernicus stayed at the Harbor Grand Hotel but on the fateful day he was at the Aldersea Day Spa having a cucumber facial. When the bombs ended society as he knew it, Copernicus fled the island to see if his family in Boston survived the bombing. While searching Boston, Copernicus was exposed to high levels of radiation that turned him into the noseless wonder he is today. Eventually he settled down in Diamond City where he worked as a scavenger and robot repair man.

Following the Broken Mask Incident, suspicions began to rise around Diamond City as to who else might be a snyth. This drove the city to desperation for almost fifty years, numerous people were targeted and either executed or driven out of the settlement. In 2274, Copernicus was fixing a protectron when it malfunctioned and attacked three settlers. The Diamond City guards defeated the protectron and then they turned their eye towards Copernicus as being a possible synth. Due to his advanced knowledge of robotics and his way with words (he uses sarcasm at the most inopportune times), Copernicus was driven out of Diamond City.

Exiled from his home city, Copernicus searched the Commonwealth wasteland only to find more misery in the form of raiders. The few settlements that existed outside of Diamond City turned him away because of their ‘No Ghoul’ policy. In 2276, Copernicus decided to leave the Commonwealth entirely and find someplace else to settle. He opted to return to Far Harbor, hoping that its removal from the Commonwealth might make it more open to outsiders.

Upon arriving in the city, Copernicus found that the same prejudices that kept him from settling in the Commonwealth had followed him to Far Harbor. He left the city and traveled inland before stumbling upon Acadia. The settlement was small, mostly populated by free synths. A perfect place for Copernicus to settle and attempt to rebuild his life.

While living in Acadia, Copernicus found a new calling as “the cool cat of Freedom” operating a radio station from the city called Radio Free Acadia. All of the oppression he has faced has taught Copernicus that the ghouls must have a new start; cobbled together with the dirt of the new world and the sultry tunes of the Pre-War world.
