Welcome to Far Harbor
Far Harbor is a 18+ RPG that features loose stats, perks (and the ability to gain more) and a profile application. Don't worry if your knowledge of Fallout isn't extensive! Our docs cover the most important points and we'll be happy to answer any questions you might have about the world.

On Far Harbor, we like to focus on the oddness of a post-apocalyptic future where technology is as diverse as having synthetic life and guns made of wood pailings. Ghouls, super mutants, humans and synths all have a place in The Island. If you're looking for a place to explore a world blasted by radiation

. . . welcome home
Feburary 2277
Super mutants have been discovered on The Island after a disasterous expedition to find somewhere for the ghouls to establish an indepedent settlement. Meanwhile, Far Harbor was attacked by anglers, injuring many and placing additional strain upon the town's only physician.

I have installed the new "Pipboy" theme! It introduces the ability to display what items your character commonly carries (change this in the UserCP). If you run into issues, be sure to PM Kit the Human.

We've also switched to profile applications! Pending Users can now edit all of their details. You can find out about the process here.

We've relaxed out content rules! We're now rated, anything goes.

The first thing Eliza remembers is pain. She doesn't know where she is, or who she is. The sky is dark, and clouds rumbling with thunder, she's scared. She's not alone though, there's a dog, more of a mutt really, who had been guarding her. He seems to know her. He has a collar, his name is Ser Hugs-a-lot, when the dog licks her face in joy when she's awake she decides it fits him. She has a bag, someone has written the name Eliza on it in black marker, she wonders if that is her. She wanders the wasteland she doesn't know where to go, but at least Ser Hugs-a-lot is with her.

She's standing in a shack, there's a gun in her hand and a dead man on the floor. She doesn't know how she got there, who he is, why she shot him. She's scared. Ser Hugs-a-lot is there though, and that calms her. She takes all she can carry from the shack, and leaves in a hurry. Eliza wonders if he deserved it.

Eliza is lying in the grass, Ser Hugs-a-lot is licking her face. She was laughing she realizes, she's still out of breath, her face flushed with happiness. Was she playing? She doesn't know, but she spends the rest of the day playing with Ser Hugs-a-lot. He tends to eat the sticks she throws for him though. She doesn't know if it's good for him, but he's obviously mutated so she's not sure.

It's cloudy, and damp, and a bit foggy. She's in a small abandoned shack, curled up with Ser hugs-a-lot. She's got her backpack, in it she finds some comics. Eliza smiles. She reads them out loud, making voices, it's fun. She likes the Silver Shroud comics the best. She spends two days like that, cuddling with Ser Hugs-a-lot, reading comics out loud to him, and eating Fancy Lad Cakes.

She's in a room with people, they seem happy and are talking to her. She doesn't know them. Where is Ser Hugs-a-lot? She can't find him. She can't breathe. She's in Acadia they tell her, she wandered in a couple of days ago, she can't remember. They tell her her dog is safe, wandering around. She feels like she can breathe again. They ask what happened, she tells them of her memory problems, about forgetting. She smiles, she doesn't tell them how much it scares her. They understand, they help her. She's better now, she only forgets sometimes, and then it's only minutes, sometimes hours, rarely days, but never months. Not like before.
