Welcome to Far Harbor
Far Harbor is a 18+ RPG that features loose stats, perks (and the ability to gain more) and a profile application. Don't worry if your knowledge of Fallout isn't extensive! Our docs cover the most important points and we'll be happy to answer any questions you might have about the world.

On Far Harbor, we like to focus on the oddness of a post-apocalyptic future where technology is as diverse as having synthetic life and guns made of wood pailings. Ghouls, super mutants, humans and synths all have a place in The Island. If you're looking for a place to explore a world blasted by radiation

. . . welcome home

Super mutants have been discovered on The Island after a disasterous expedition to find somewhere for the ghouls to establish an indepedent settlement. Meanwhile, Far Harbor was attacked by anglers, injuring many and placing additional strain upon the town's only physician.

I have installed the new "Pipboy" theme! It introduces the ability to display what items your character commonly carries (change this in the UserCP). If you run into issues, be sure to PM Kit the Human.

We've also switched to profile applications! Pending Users can now edit all of their details. You can find out about the process here.

All Jamie knows is the Church.

Her mother was one of the early believers of Atom, hanging onto the words of the first Confessor and inspired by his devotion. More to the point, her genes were mutated and thus she experienced no radiation sickness. Some believed that this indicated she was close to becoming a feral ghoul. Her mother yet lives.

Jamie does not know who her father is and she does not care.

She traveled with the Church from Megaton when she was ten, arriving with them when she was eleven on the strange island. Jamie had always been a wanderer because of [redacted] [redacted] and so it was the first thing she did in Far Harbor. Wander into the Fog. It was....beautiful. And dangerous. She was mauled by an angler after she followed a Mysterious Figure but afterwards, spoke of it with awe. The angler did not kill her, it let her live and she doesn't know why. The feral ghouls she saw in the Fog also left her alone. It was like the irradiated creatures recognised one of their own.

(In reality, she was attacked by a sick angler. It sensed the presence of other predators and escaped. Jamie did not see any feral ghouls, she only imagined them.)

So inspired, Jamie begged to be allowed to learn how to fight and was allowed to, because someone with Atom's Blessing would make a fine Zealot. She was trained first in smaller weapons and then heavier ones. They suited her headstrong nature better.

At 16, Jamie scarified her face so that the mark of Atom would be upon her and a year later, the Children of Atom left Far Harbor and settled into the Nucleus. Jamie settled into her role as a Zealot. She patrols the area incessantly and is as likely to hit or shoot with her harpoon gun as she is to speak. At times, she is sent off around the Island to retrieve nuclear tech.

However, she also watches the other settlements and is unsettled by her growing jealousy.
