Welcome to Far Harbor
Far Harbor is a 18+ RPG that features loose stats, perks (and the ability to gain more) and a profile application. Don't worry if your knowledge of Fallout isn't extensive! Our docs cover the most important points and we'll be happy to answer any questions you might have about the world.

On Far Harbor, we like to focus on the oddness of a post-apocalyptic future where technology is as diverse as having synthetic life and guns made of wood pailings. Ghouls, super mutants, humans and synths all have a place in The Island. If you're looking for a place to explore a world blasted by radiation

. . . welcome home
Feburary 2277
Super mutants have been discovered on The Island after a disasterous expedition to find somewhere for the ghouls to establish an indepedent settlement. Meanwhile, Far Harbor was attacked by anglers, injuring many and placing additional strain upon the town's only physician.

I have installed the new "Pipboy" theme! It introduces the ability to display what items your character commonly carries (change this in the UserCP). If you run into issues, be sure to PM Kit the Human.

We've also switched to profile applications! Pending Users can now edit all of their details. You can find out about the process here.

"Good, we need to get her to my house now." He needed to get her back to his infirmary as quickly as possible, a sterile environment. Burns like this compromised the immune system, the chance for infections that could turn deadly was big.

Carefully he lifted Ally up bridal style, and then laid her down on the stretcher, the blanket still covering her, cooling down the burnt skin.
Zack grabbed one end of the stretcher with Connor and together they lifted Ally. People flowed around them line wind around a tower. They made as much noise too. They followed Liam to his infirmary.
He looked ready to fall over by the time they made it to Liam's. Connor shuffled along doggedly without speaking.
Liam got her over on his bench/operating table, then looked at Connor and Zack. His eyes zeroed in on Connor's shoulder, and a low "shit" escaped him. He was only one man, and there were undoubtedly more injured, but he had to prioritize after severity.

"Connor, there are clean rags in the cupboard over there, get one and press it against your shoulder until the bleeding stops." He pointed towards one of the steel cupboards hanging on the wall, then he looked towards Zack, not even taking a break to breathe in between ordering the two men. "I need you to get me a bag of isotonic solution while I prepare the IV-drip, they're marked clearly in small plastic bags in the second cupboard."

With that he hurried over to find a clean needle, tubes, and to pull out the pole he used to hold up the IV-bag.
Zack stared at Connor and then stared at Liam.

He did not know what a isotonic solution looked like and it felt like his inadequacies were staring at him. Zack breathed in and strode towards the steel cupboard. He yanked them open with fingers that were chilled and saw with relief that the bags were indeed labelled with isotonic solution. Quickly, he grabbed one and hurried back to Liam.

Connor managed not to knock anything over getting a rag for his shoulder. He'd learned to weather pain stoically, but injury was injury. Holding it against his shoulder, he collapsed into a nearby chair, trying to keep his legs out of the way.

Zack wasn't hurt. It was something positive about the absolutely fucked situation.
"Thank you." He said as he took the bag, connecting it to the IV-tube and needle, then hanging it on the pole. Then he carefully took Ally's arm, the flesh was burnt, a glistening red that made it more difficult to find a vein. He managed though. Then adjusted the drip, making sure the amount of fluids she received was controlled and careful.

Getting fluids in her was too important for him to give up on.

The moist blanket was still cooling her down, though he almost winced at how dirty it probably was. Turning to the bench he had by the wall, underneath the cupboards, he bent down and looked through the shelves in it. He knew he had an antibiotic cream here somewhere, and clean dressings.
With no further command forthcoming, Zack moved over to stand behind Connor and put his hand over Connor's.

"I've got it." It disturbed him to see the young girl with an needle in her arm and the liquid in that bag, now entering her body. She was ripe red and bloody and wrinkled. Zack closed his eyes against it, the muscle in his cheek trembled.
The door flung open, smacking into the wall behind it. Logan pushed through, a Hull guard halting uncertainly at the threshold. He had sawdust in his wild hair, and to see Ally he went pale.

"What happened?". Viola, the guard, stepped in behind him, grabbing his arm before he could dart into Liam's way. He didn't resist her, but she held fast and waited, mouth set.

He welled up in tears, leaned on Viola when she put her arm around his shoulders. They bent their heads together, and Logan shook. "Oh God, Ally."
Connor looked up to watch them, mouth a long, thin line. He didn't say anything, swallowing and letting his eyes drop to the floor. Zack held the cloth to his shoulder for him, and Connor's hand went slack.
