Welcome to Far Harbor
Far Harbor is a 18+ RPG that features loose stats, perks (and the ability to gain more) and a profile application. Don't worry if your knowledge of Fallout isn't extensive! Our docs cover the most important points and we'll be happy to answer any questions you might have about the world.

On Far Harbor, we like to focus on the oddness of a post-apocalyptic future where technology is as diverse as having synthetic life and guns made of wood pailings. Ghouls, super mutants, humans and synths all have a place in The Island. If you're looking for a place to explore a world blasted by radiation

. . . welcome home
Feburary 2277
Super mutants have been discovered on The Island after a disasterous expedition to find somewhere for the ghouls to establish an indepedent settlement. Meanwhile, Far Harbor was attacked by anglers, injuring many and placing additional strain upon the town's only physician.

I have installed the new "Pipboy" theme! It introduces the ability to display what items your character commonly carries (change this in the UserCP). If you run into issues, be sure to PM Kit the Human.

We've also switched to profile applications! Pending Users can now edit all of their details. You can find out about the process here.

We've relaxed out content rules! We're now rated, anything goes.

He had seen that green somewhere. A soft green, not the hard radioactive green. A green that did not glow but absorbed yellow light. He did not know of the small animals except for helpless young cats, their eyes closed and mouths mewling. Or small dogs that wriggled, their bodies round and soft.

"And humans destroyed it." Phi mused. "What of the robots?"
"The robots? What do you mean?" She asked this almost gently, still half-gone is reverie.
"Were there many? Were they different? Were they treated well? Were there synthetics like me?" Phi was measured as he listed all the questions he had but none were the one's he wanted answered. The real question, the big one, he could not frame it. It was simply a hum in the back of his mind. Something that drove him to question the ghoul who had lived forever.
Phi reminded her of a little child with the rapid questions. Her own little children who'd hang on her shirt, or her apron, or her hand, asking Mommy, why?. "Well, there were robots everywhere. The way TV made it sound, you weren't anyone if you didn't have a Mr. Handy. How did people treat them? Like appliances, I guess. They were never like you."

Had there been synths? There could have been, she supposed. How would anyone have even known?

"I don't know about synths. Maybe ones like DiMA, but if he's anything to go on, there was nothing like you."
Phi sighed deliberately. Then the past did not hold the answers he sought, nor had it squirreled away the respect for robots that today's organics lacked.

He supposed synth and robots were made for one reason and one reason only. To serve organics. Free thought, emotion and sensation was simply a product of their sadism.

Phi would very much like to kill them all.

"Thank you Ma. Do you require anything further?"
She studied him, trying to decipher his sigh. "No, I don't need anything else. Thanks for stopping by, Phi." Ma wouldn't mind a look inside his head, a chance at knowing what went on up there.

Ma had a narrowed-eye look to her, but she smiled a moment later. "You take care of yourself, now."
Phi stood up and looked down at Ma's leathery momentarily suspicious face.

"Ok." There was nothing else to say. Phi left.
