Welcome to Far Harbor
Far Harbor is a 18+ RPG that features loose stats, perks (and the ability to gain more) and a profile application. Don't worry if your knowledge of Fallout isn't extensive! Our docs cover the most important points and we'll be happy to answer any questions you might have about the world.

On Far Harbor, we like to focus on the oddness of a post-apocalyptic future where technology is as diverse as having synthetic life and guns made of wood pailings. Ghouls, super mutants, humans and synths all have a place in The Island. If you're looking for a place to explore a world blasted by radiation

. . . welcome home
Feburary 2277
Super mutants have been discovered on The Island after a disasterous expedition to find somewhere for the ghouls to establish an indepedent settlement. Meanwhile, Far Harbor was attacked by anglers, injuring many and placing additional strain upon the town's only physician.

Gabriel shook his head. He didn't believe that from her. Sure, he didn't know her well, but he knew a brother when he found one and Joan was a brother hiding his teeth. Still, Joan paid well so Gabriel shoved the trolley around another corner after her and steadied the minigun when it started to shift.

"You're better than Far Harbor," Gabriel said. "I can tell."
"That's, I mean-" They laughed a bit, pleased but embarrassed. No-one had told them they were better than anything before. "Thanks." Joan turned towards a shelf, inspecting the items on it, to hide the slight flush spreading across their cheeks.

"Well, anyway, 'ere I am, so jus' a've ta make the best of it."
Gabriel shook his head at Joan.

"A'right, you make the best if it." He stopped the trolley behind Joan while she inspected the stuff for anything valuable and he looked ahead. Good thing too. He heard something power up and the robotisised voice of a protectron.

"Intruder," stomp. Stomp. Red lights washed intermittently over the wall in front of the pair. Gabriel picked up his mini gun and stepped away from the trolley and Joan.

"A'right you," the protectron rounded the corner as Gabriel unleashed a storm of bullets. The protectron stumbled back from the force and went tinktinktinktink as bullets fell off of it's protective casing. It shot a laser beam. Forcing Gabriel to step sideways.
"Damn righ' I do." They said, then their head whipped around towards the sound. Joan ducked behind a shelf for cover and drew their gun, peeking out to see how Gabriel was dealing with the protectron.

They fired off a few shots when he was forced to step sideways.
"Hey. Joan. Hey." Gabriel stepped aside again as the protectron fired again. His barrel was empty. Gabriel popped it and reached for his holster to replace the barrels. It was a time consuming process and he had to keep moving, an eye on the protectron as it stomped towards him.

"Make a boom."
They looked towards Gabriel from where they were hiding, raising their eyebrows.

"With what?"
The barrel locked in and Gabriel began firing at the protectron again. It stomped towards him, red laser beams zipping from it's hands and glassy head swaying back and forth. A red light winked at Gabriel from the top of it's head. The glass started crack under the barrage of bullets Gabriel unleashed.

"Surprise me," he risked a look at Joan. His eyes were glittering with a child-like excitement and a giggle was hidden in his mouth. The look came at a cost. A laser beam cut his arm. His skin burned and blistered and Gabriel winced and returned his focus onto the attacking robot.
"Alrigh', one big boom comin' up." They grinned then moved, they thought they'd spotted a corpse with a bag of weapons, maybe some grenades, further in. They just needed to circle around that damn protectron.

Crouching they scurried as fast as they could out from the shelf they were behind and then over to another. This seemed to draw the robot's attention however, and it shifted its focus from Gabriel to Joan. It fired its lasers and they barely managed to dodge out of the way, and roll into cover behind a shelf.

It turned out to be a mistake.

The protectron concentrated its beams on what turned out to be an already unstable shelf, and with a groaning sound it toppled over. Crashing into the ground, and trapping Joan underneath it. They gave a surprised shout that was cut short, the metal shelf hit their head, knocking them unconscious for a few precious seconds.
Gabriel reversed his grip on his minigun when Joan went under the shelves. His expression was set with no hint of his childish delight from earlier. He strode towards the protectron as it turned, chanting it's intruder alert and red light spinning. Another laser beam cut out from it's hand and hit Gabriel's shoulder, burning his armour and making his nose twitch with the stink. He got close to the protectron and was hit by it's metal hand. It flailed, slapping him.

Gabriel lifted the minigun and thrust it towards the protectron's head. The glass, weakened by the bullets from earlier. Splintered. He smacked it again with the minigun, ignoring the blooming pain of metal hands cracking his skin.

"Fucking robot," he growled and a third time opened the glass, sending diamond shards across the floor. The thing still wasn't dead. Gabriel kept at it, hitting it with his gun repeatedly until the thing was smacked open and wire's exposed. Gabriel shoved the robot away and put his gun down.

"C'mon Joan, out ya come." He grabbed the edge of the shelves, braced himself and lifted. "Just like having a baby." He wheezed.
They were only gone for a couple of seconds, and when they opened their eyes again it was to the sound of Gabriel still fighting the protectron. It hurt, being pinned under the shelf. It was difficult to tell if something was broken, hell, it was difficult to even think.

There was a pounding pain in their head, and something warm and sticky trailing down the side of their face.

As soon as the shelf was lifted off the enough so that they could move, they hurriedly dragged themselves . Blinking away the blood obscuring their vision as they finally got out from under that deathtrap of a shelf.

"Thanks, shit, tha' would 'ave been a shitty way ta die. Trapped under a damn shelf."
